A leading telecommunications company based in Culver City is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a key role that will support month-end close, financial reporting, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals
Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with GAAP
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
Support internal and external audit processes
Review and enhance accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, and billing
Assist with special projects, including systems implementation and process automation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred)
4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior-level role
Telecommunications or technology industry experience strongly preferred
Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Oracle
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
